Belouche

Belouche is an ancient Persian design originated by the nomadic Belouche tribe. Most often found in small sizes for ease of handling while wandering in the mountain regions, these rugs are often directional or asymmetrical and can be used in prayer. They are typically woven in dark shades of reds and browns with tan, blues and ivory. Most Belouche rugs are woven in the hills of Afghanistan and imported from Pakistan.
