Kerman

Kerman is a delicate looking rug with a small scale design that is usually floral and light. The impression at a glance would be of a soft rug of pastel ivory, rose, blue and green. The contemporary Kerman often has an open field with medallion and corners or small interconnected floral patterns. The beauty of a Kerman is enhanced by the use of different tones of the same color-both light and dark blue for example-to create a soft, two tone effect.
