Needlepoint

Needlepoint rugs, although handmade, are not a handknotted carpet but rather hand done with needle and wool on a large canvas grid. The effect is a flat weave carpet that lends itself well to low traffic areas or as a wallhanging. A beautiful and subtle array of earth tones and pastels, the needlepoint carpet is reminiscent of European or French aubousson designs and is an outstanding addition to any formal setting.
