Sarouk is a mountainous region with a long history of excellence in weaving. Dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries, the Sarouk carpet is characterized by groupings of interconnected floral designs. Today the Sarouk design is woven in India, Pakistan and China, typically using beautiful deep tones.
