Tribal Staircase and Stair Runner with Fringe

These two stairways show rugs used for different effects. The Mahal runner is a more casual look, with the large design and vegetable dyes that characterize the more rural, tribal rugs. The more formal rug seen here has been installed with the fringe left exposed an the last riser, instead of being tucked under.
