This Kazak from the early 1900's is very special to this antique
rug collector. In order to keep the rug from further wear, it is
used as a dramatic wallhanging in a two-story contemporary entryway.
The size of the rug is about 4x9.

This finely woven Bokhara retains it's value as a piece
of collectible art because it is hung as opposed to being used on
the floor. It is approximately 100 years old, and is still rich
with color and lustrous pile.
